As so many other people in the film industry, I grew up with a passion for movies and photography. I was born in Iceland, grew up in Norway, and did my bachelor's degree in Cinematography in France. Since then I've worked in the film industry in Norway, and all the other countries it has brought me to. I thoroughly enjoy working with my fellow colleagues to create great stories and images.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Cinematography in The International Film School in Paris, close to Panavision and TSF. A great school, situated in the studio area, in the north of Paris. We had many great teachers from the industry, and shot loads of short films on film. In a country like France, you obviously learn a lot about film history when studying filmmaking, which is very inspiring.

After completing secondary school, I knew that I wanted to pursue filmmaking, so I applied to the high school that was most closely related to film and photography nearby. We studied all facets of tv, film, journalism and media.
